Prices for Proofreading/
Copy Editing
I accept PDF documents as well as all MS Office Suite formats:
MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
Jobs in MS Word will be charged at 1 cent per word.
Jobs in PDF will be charged according to the following hourly rates:
$25/hour for light to medium proofreading (estimated 6-12 pages/hour)
$30/hour for heavy/technical proofreading (estimated 4-6 pages per hour)
A small premium may be added for nights/weekends or emergency jobs depending on availability.
Typing/word processing services also available - contact me for pricing.
ALL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS RECEIVE A 10% DISCOUNT OFF
STANDARD RATES.
I would be pleased to provide a complimentary sample of my proofreading services for first-time clients. Simply submit a 500 word (maximum) document, which I will promptly review and send back to you. You are under no obligation to hire me.
Payment
I accept checks, money orders, PayPal, Venmo or cash and also offer CASH DISCOUNTS!
For most jobs, full payment is requested upon receipt of invoice, which will be sent via e-mail. For large jobs, a 50% deposit is required with the balance due upon receipt
of invoice.
